In the Arms of Love

Chapter 6

Casey opened her eyes and stretched. The only light available was from the small nightlight near the desk. She reached out to touch Daniel, only to find the bed empty. She sat up and turned on the lamp. She smiled when she saw the note.

Babe,

Doing a background check on the ex. In my office. Come get me when you’re ready for breakfast.

Love you.

Daniel.

She went to the locker room, took a shower, and pulled on the clean clothes she kept in her locker. Dried and brushed her hair, then went to Daniel’s office.

Daniel was perched on a stool, bent over the work table, examining the new tape that had been taken during one of SG-1’s last missions. She smiled, watched him for a moment. His brow was knit in a frown of concentration, his eyes moving from the images on the screen to the notes he was scribbling furiously, and back again. He would stop the tape, back it up, run it again. She slipped up behind him, slid her arms around his neck, moved her hands down his chest. He jumped slightly, then grinned.

"Morning, babe," he said, turning off the tape and the monitor, laying his pencil down.

"Morning, love," she replied. "I thought we were supposed to have the next three days off."

"We are. Base security called a little bit ago. They saw Kenny in his car last night, and then again this morning. Looks like he spent the night watching for us to leave the base."

Casey began to pull her lower lip between her teeth. "Legally, there’s nothing we can do, is there?"

Daniel shook his head. "Until he breaks the law, no, there isn’t."

"I am not going to spend my days off hiding on the base."

"Didn’t think you’d want to. So, Jack and Sam are going to come get us, take us by the house, we’ll grab enough for a couple of days, and fly to Denver," he told her.

"Have this all planned out, do you?" she asked, a smile on her face.

He stood up, wrapped his arms around her. "Yep. We’re getting a hotel room, and we’re not leaving it for two days. May not even let you out of bed," he said with a grin.

"Oh, two days in your arms! I could go for that," she breathed. She leaned up to kiss him. She pulled away, looked into his eyes. "Have I told you lately that I love you?"

"Not in the past few hours, no," he smiled.

"Love you," she said, kissing him. "Love you." Her lips moved to his chin. "Love you." She trailed kisses over his throat.

"Love you too, Angel." He pulled her close. "Jack and Sam should be here anytime. Let’s go grab some breakfast."

She nodded, kissed him one last time, then let him lead her to the commissary. They had just started eating when Sam and Jack arrived.

"I just checked with security. He’s still out there. Arizona tags. Until a week ago, it was registered to Suzanne Chambers. He didn’t steal it, at least not technically," Daniel told them.

Casey shook her head. "He’s a smooth talker. Bet Suzanne Chambers is feeling like a fool about now," she said.

"We’ll see how serious he is about sticking around. He can’t sit out there for two days," Jack said.

"Well, I’m not going to sit around worrying about him," Casey said. "If he wants to make trouble, he’ll make it. He doesn’t scare me. I know I can defend myself, and from the looks of him last night, he hasn’t exactly been taking care of himself."

Daniel put his arm around her shoulders. "My tiger," he chuckled.

"Well, Jacksons, are you ready to go? I figure you guys could use a couple of days away regardless," Jack said.

"I’m looking forward to it," Casey smiled, looking at Daniel. She saw the promises in his eyes. She shivered in anticipation.

They stopped at the house to pack. She packed for three days, and slipped an extra teddy into her bag. It was new, revealing, and certain to make Daniel sit up and take notice. By the time she had gathered her toiletries and makeup, Daniel was finished and waiting in the living room with Jack and Sam.

He looked up when she walked into the room, her duffel in one hand, her purse over her shoulder. "Ready, babe?"

She nodded. "Yep. I am so ready for two days off. I feel like I’ve been working non-stop forever," she said softly.

"One of these days, we’re going to take a real vacation," Daniel said.

"Tried that once, look how it turned out," she replied.

"Yeah, but we solved that problem," he grinned. She smiled at him, and squeezed his hand.

The flight from Silver Springs to Denver was only about thirty minutes. Daniel rented a car, and they drove straight to a hotel not far from the airport. The room was typical hotel fare, but the bed was queen sized, the TV worked, and there was room service.

She tossed her duffel onto the dresser. "Okay, Doctor Jackson, take a last look at the world, at least for a couple of days," she said, closing the curtains. She smiled. "Why don’t you make yourself…comfortable. I’ll be right back." She found the new white teddy, and slipped into the bathroom.

Daniel grinned, and turned down the blankets. He pulled off his clothes and crawled naked onto the bed. Two days. For two days he wouldn’t have to worry about anything more pressing than what to order for dinner. For two days they could lay in this bed, make love …talk…make love…watch TV…make love. He stretched out, waiting for his wife.

The bathroom door opened, and Casey stepped out. The teddy she was wearing was white, lacy, and see through. She smiled at Daniel when he looked over at her, the desire in his eyes enough to make her wet and ready for him.

"Wow," he said softly. He grinned. "Come over here and let me take that off."

She giggled. She walked over to him, trailed a finger over his cheek. "Like what you see, Doctor Jackson?"

"Oh, yeah." He reached up and put his arms around her, pulled her on top of him. "Love you, Angel."

"Love you, my heart," she whispered. She kissed him, slipping her tongue into his mouth, tasting him, feeling him. Soon he had taken control, his tongue dancing against hers, stroking her, tasting her. She could feel the flames shooting ever higher.

He rolled them over, putting her on her back, began kissing her throat, her collarbone. His fingers pushed the strap of the teddy off her shoulder, his lips followed, leaving a trail of fire on her skin. "Let’s get this off," he whispered, as he pushed the lacy garment down past her breasts. She raised up, let him pull it from her body. He tossed it over his shoulder.

"Better?"

"Much," he replied. He made love to her breasts. "Love the way you taste, Angel."

"Love the way you make me feel, My Heart," she whispered. Her hips came up off of the bed when his fingers slid between her thighs and began to caress her. "Worship me," she whispered, gently pushing his head downward. She opened her legs, ready for his kisses.

He gently nibbled the glistening folds of her womanhood. Honey flowed from her sweet well, and he began to lick her, each touch of his tongue causing her to shiver. When he at last began to tease at that hardened nub with his tongue, she arched toward him. He let his hands caress her thighs, waited until he could feel the gentle quivering that alerted him to her approaching orgasm, then slid up and buried himself in her. "You’re so close babe, I can feel it. Do it for me, babe. Come for me," he whispered.

She whimpered as he began to thrust in and out of her. "I’m gonna…oh god!" she cried.

He stopped his movements, waited until the spasms in her body had ceased. She was grinding against him now, her arms locked around his shoulders, her legs around his waist. The fire was raging, the heat almost more than he could bear. He began to thrust into her, harder, faster, deeper.

"Love me, Daniel," she whispered. "Fill me with your love."

He groaned, rose up on his outstretched arms and began to pound into her body. Her hands held onto his biceps, her fingers tightening on his arms as she moved toward her second climax. "Take it, babe, take it," he grunted, just before he emptied himself into her warm well with a long shuddering moan.

She cried out just as he began to throb, just as he began to fill her. She pushed her hips against his, raising them both off the bed as her body rocketed to her release.

"Sweet Jesus," he muttered, collapsing on top of her. She was wrapped around him again, her breasts heaving beneath him. With his last bit of strength, he rolled to his back, holding her close. She moved her arms and legs just before he settled against the mattress.

She lay with her head on his shoulder, her hands holding onto his upper arms, her legs curled beside his hips, her body still trembling. She smiled when she felt one hand rest on the back of her neck, the other on the small of her back.

"Damn!" he whispered, his breathing finally under control again.

She shivered, cuddled closer to him. "Was it as amazing for you as it was for me?"

"I think so, if your reactions were anything to go by," he replied with a smile.

She reached down and pulled the blankets up over them, then resettled herself on him. "It’s always so good…but…wow," she said softly.

"I know babe. This was…special," he replied. He let his hands drift up and down her back. Within minutes she was completely relaxed against him. "Sleep, Angel," he whispered.

She sighed. Something special had happened, she could feel it. She smiled. Maybe, just maybe, the time was finally right. She closed her eyes, and drifted to sleep.

When she opened her eyes, she was still lying on top of him. How can he stand my weight on his chest for so long? she wondered. She started to slide off of him, but his arms tightened around her.

"You aren’t going anywhere, woman," he said softly.

"Don’t I get heavy?"

He smiled. "Nope. You’re lighter than the pack I carry. Love to feel you on me," he replied.

She snuggled into his embrace. "Love to lay like this, safe in your arms," she whispered.

"Then stay here, babe. Stay here in my arms."

Kenny shifted in the seat. He'd sat there all night, and now all day, and still the jeep hadn’t moved. He needed to piss, he was hungry, and his back was howling about the amount of time spent in the car seat. He yanked the handle of the door and got out. He stretched, then wandered over to one of the trees. He unzipped his pants and did what he had to do, listening for any sounds coming from the gate.

He had fallen asleep for a couple of hours this morning. It was possible that they'd left the base with someone else. There had been at least two dozen cars that had come and gone so far. Busy for a Sunday, he thought. He stared down the road. He knew where she worked. Knew what vehicle to look for. He had all the time in the world. He got back in the car. He’d see if Tammy…or Terry, was in the mood for some company. His dreams about his ex-wife had made him horny. And any port in a storm would do, as his father had told him.

The guard at the gate watched the car drive down the hill. He reached for the phone.
