Season's Greetings! Just 19 shopping days until Christmas! And, to help you through the hustle and bustle of the season, I'm happy to announce that the newest story for the Destiny's Child storyline, "Heaven Called While You Slept", has been posted. I hope you enjoy reading the story as much as I did writing it! We get to peek into the dreams of our favorite SG team members, and there are some hijinks going on as well...*grin*

Hello, hello! Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American readers...I hope you have a blessed holiday, and remember what it's all about! Let's give thanks for all of the blessings that we have in our lives.
Due to the fact that RW has been totally uncooperative (it all started with, "Honey, let's repaint the living room and dining room"...Oy!!!), I didn't get 'Heaven Called While You Slept' finished until yesterday. Given the holiday, I won't get it to my beta readers until this coming weekend.
However, I should have the PDF files ready, and the site for them online sometime the second week of December. It's almost ready, just a few more stories to convert. I'll have the URL posted on the homepage for those who are interested.
As always, a great big THANK YOU to the GREATEST READERS IN THE WORLD for all of the continued support, kind words, and encouragement. You make this journey all the more fun!

Wow...time flies when you're doing home repairs and remodeling, eh? That particular job continues, although I have been able to work on the next story for the Destiny's Child series, titled "Heaven Called While You Slept". I was hoping it would be ready to post this month, but I don't know if that's going to happen. Definitely next month, I promise!

Hello, hello, hello! Just a quick update to let everyone know that "In My Daughter's Eyes" has been posted. This is a very short story, just a vignette really. I enjoyed writing it, and it does set up the next story rather nicely, as well as giving us a peek into the growing relationship between Casey and her father, Gary.
And I can't forget to say THANKS to the GREATEST READERS IN THE WORLD for making this journey so much fun!

With wishes for best luck to Cleo, head admin at the GateFic Awards, I'd like to pass on the news that due to tornadoes, dance competitions, final exams, and work (a combination of events certain to test the patience of Job!) the deadline for nominations for the awards has been extended until May 28th. So if you still haven't nominated that favorite fan fic, that favorite artwork, or that favorite video, you have a chance to do so! Let your fave author/artist know that you appreciate their work!

I hope you enjoy the story, and now we're all ready to move on to new adventures! The Muse will hopefully have mercy on me, and will work on one story at a time, rather than dropping tidbits into my head for stories three and four down the list! *grin*

Hello, hello! Just a little note to let everyone know that the GateFic awards are open for nominations. Which will close on April 30th. So if there's fan fiction, fan art, or a fan video pertaining to Stargate that you would like to see recognized, you can do so here! Those of us who use the internet as the outlet for our creativity don't always hear from those who enjoy our work...this is the perfect way to let those writers and artists know that they're appreciated! (It's also great fun to peruse all of the wonderful 'finds' that are nominated!)

Yep, believe it or not, FIVE YEARS have passed since this site first appeared! It's definitely grown, and the addition of my two best friends and their incredible stories have only made TCO all the better! This journey has been so much fun, and I'm still having a blast! As long as the Muse and the characters have stories to share, I'll continue to write. After all, that's what this is all about, right? Having fun? You bet it is! Of course, let me say right here that having the GREATEST READERS IN THE WORLD join me on this journey has made it all the better...sweeter...more exciting!
To celebrate, and because I have a couple of 'regular' readers who are anxious to get to the next story, "Descent Into Hell" has been posted. There will be one more story in the Ancient weapons storyline, and then we'll be moving on to new adventures!
One thing I haven't mentioned in awhile, and for all of the new folks who have joined us here at TCO, feedback is absolute gold to online authors. It's the only way that we know if you're enjoying the stories (or not!) I've tried to make it as easy as possible to contact either Renee, Lisa, or myself, with the links on the Contact Page. See, I'm already doing better! Actually, this is just to let anyone who might possibly be interested know that all of the update entries for 2010 are now on their own archive page. Just click on the Archive button on my intro page, and you'll find the link there. I was chagrined to see how little there actually was for last year! My readers certainly deserve better than that, so I will attempt to keep this page updated on a more frequent basis!
After all, this site wouldn't be as popular as it is if not for the GREATEST READERS IN THE WORLD!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
If I made New Year's resolutions, I would make only one...to attempt to be better at keeping this page up-to-date! All I can do is promise to try! As long as RW doesn't interfere too much, I should be able to accomplish that!
For the moment, work is going well on the next two stories of the Destiny's Child Series. Both tie-in with and 'finish' "Picking Up the Pieces". Because there needs to be focus on certain events and characters, two short stories are required...I'm certain you'll understand once they're finished and posted. With luck that will be the first part of February.
As always, I want to thank the GREATEST READERS IN THE WORLD for making this journey so much fun...and keeping the fire lit in the hearts of the Muse, the characters and I. There are more stories to be told...and together we'll continue along the path.
